Kirk R. Jeffreys, III, M.D.

Dr. Dr. Kirk Jeffreys is a native of Jackson, Mississippi and graduated from Mississippi State University in 1991. In 1995 he received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine. Dr. Jeffreys completed his internship in Internal Medicine and residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He also completed the Basic Science Course in Ophthalmology from Harvard University.

Dr. Jeffreys is board certified through the American Board of Ophthalmology and his clinical practice includes all areas of comprehensive Ophthalmology with special interests in cataract and refractive surgery.

Tina R. Sorey, O.D.

Tina R. Sorey, O.D.

Dr. Tina Sorey was born in Forest, Mississippi and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1994. In 1998 she received her Doctor of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts.

Dr. Sorey’s professional training in Optometry includes completed Internships at the VA Medical Center in Boston, Dorchester House Multi-Service Center in Dorchester, Massachusetts, Lahey Clinic North Medical Center in Peabody, New England Eye Institute in Boston and the South Boston Community Health Center. Dr. Sorey has been a practicing optometrist in the Jackson area since 1998, and in private practice in Flowood, Mississippi since 2005. She became Board Certified through the National Board of Optometry in 1998.

Mark Kosko, MD

Dr. Mark Kosco

Dr. Mark Kosko is a native of Greenwood, Mississippi where he learned to love eye care from a young age by observing and working with his father, ophthalmologist Dr. Paul Kosko. He is a 2006 graduate of The University of Mississippi and a 2010 graduate of the University of Mississippi School of Medicine where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society.

Dr. Kosko completed a residency in ophthalmology in Memphis, Tennessee at the University of Tennessee’s Hamilton Eye Institute. He then completed additional fellowship training in glaucoma and cataract surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham’s Callahan Eye Hospital. Dr. Kosko became Board Certified through the American Board of Ophthalmology in 2015. His clinical practice includes all areas of comprehensive ophthalmology, with special interests in complicated cataracts, laser cataract surgery and glaucoma surgery.
